Greetings from the TPHRC and welcome!
Another hunting season has come and gone and we hope that your retrievers performed up to their potential. All the training our members and their dogs did in 2006 really showed up in the field this past season. We now shift our focus from hunting to hunt test season where we will test the skills and abilities of our dog/handler teams in real world hunting situations. We are an affiliate member of the Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) whose motto is “Conceived by Hunters for Hunters”. It is truly remarkable how well hunting season and hunt test season compliment and contribute to one another. They both give us opportunities to do what we enjoy most – spending time in the field with family, friends, and our dogs.

The TPHRC is planning a fantastic hunt test for May 5-6 at Greenbelt Lake in Clarendon, TX. Please see the links to our hunt test premium. We would love to have you join us for what promises to be an exciting and fun weekend filled with great dogs, great friends, great entertainment, and great food! Special thanks to our Hunt Test Chair Shane Fiedler, Hunt Test Secretary Marlene Scott, excellent judges, and all who help put on such a wonderful event.
